Professor Wishart, Chief Medical Officer at Check4Cancer has written an article for The Spectator on how another lockdown will only fuel the cancer crisis which is gripping the UK and which has been further exacerbated by successive lockdowns. With 740,000 fewer urgent referrals since the start of lockdown and with as many as 60,000 people with missed cancers, a number that would fill a large football stadium, it is clear that lockdown has caused the biggest cancer catastrophe this country has seen.
